Farm League is opening a restaurant called Arthur Mac’s Tap & Snack that will be located within a larger complex near Oakland’s MacArthur BART station. The project, a collaboration between Farm League and Ben Frombgen of San Francisco’s Bcooperative, will consist of a small indoor section with a larger outdoor beer garden and will serve “approachable food and beverage in a fun and relaxed setting.”

Oakland is about to get taller. For the first time in nearly a decade, the city has new high-rise buildings on the way, the latest a 27-story, mixed-use project at 1911 Telegraph Avenue, right across the street from the Fox Theatre, Henry J. Kaiser Park, and Uber’s future Oakland headquarters.
